Jane Pauley Show looking like extras for the Queer Eye For The Straight Guy
Show. I was like wtf are they doing on this show? I guess they were promoting that SKOM film. But after watching that I lost my last ounce of
respect for those corporate whores!

Metallica died with AJFA. I really wished they changed their name it would have made the selling out more dignifying.

I suppose the next logical step will be to deny that they were any albums prior to "Load" (like Pantera did with their pre CFH albums), headline the Lolapusluza, tour with Britney and go to Jerry Springfield to vent how bad was living with Cliff and Jason.

Well I usually dont get up that early so I didn't know that was a repeat. I'ts hard to
hate them because of their music before the black album. But after watching that

They admitted at the end of one of their concerts once: "We are a pop band and we will do what it takes for money and fame" or something along those lines...a Turkish friend of mine was saying.

I don't think anyone can dismiss the importance of Metallica in rock history and the value of the first four albums.

My "problem" (like if I lose money or sleep over it :Smug: ) is that Metallica should be a name for a real metal band. If they had changed their name to Popallica, Mallcorica, Alcoholika or Lars Friendly Combo I wouldn't mind at all what they did after AJFA.

I don't think they are stupid enough to say such a thing.. your Turkish friend must of misinterpreted what they said.. they did say once (Jason did actually) something like : Yes we sell out.. we sell out every arena we play in ..... it was on one of their videos (not the great Cliff Em All video) or MTV or something.. can't remember.. i have a splitting headache since Sunday morning that i haven't listened to any of my metal cd's since Saturday lol ...
