I'm in a metal band...

I'm in a band. That's what I'm telling everyone here at my work and they believe me.

They saw that infamous pic of me with long hair and one girl commented that I look like a rock singer.

So I went with it...

"Well I was in a band."

"Really?" They ask.

"Yes, we were called Gent'talia."

"OMG... have I heard anything by your band?"

"Maybe... ever hear our monster hit single 'Stroke Me' it was on MTV a few times."

By this time most of them caught on to my little lie... but one girl was like...

"OMG, I have heard that song." She's a sweetie. So I start belting out a few lyrics, made up completely on the spot... Imagine the lamest 80's hair band/ power metal voice... that was how I was singing...

"Stroke me... stroke me baby... stroke my Gent'talia ahhhhh, lalalalala stroke me!"

After that I thought I better shut up for fear of a sexual harrassment charge, hahaha. Bah! Hahahaha! I love telling stories to my co-workers, they have no idea who I really am... a story teller.

I thought his story was rather entertaining, and I'm going to defend him by pointing out that the only serious problem with this thread is your spelling/grammar.

i work at a local community centre, and i told the new guy that i used to fly a helicopter to my old place of work. his response: REALLY?! That's so cool! Do you still fly?
usually, i can keep it going, but i had to let up...
telling fake stories - not lying - is fun sometimes...you just have to make sure you say after a while that you're just messing with them...by the way, i thought your story was quite entertaining, too!
