I'm afraid I have't heard one single band of the ones you mantioned, so it's hard to reccomend anything similar :zombie:

Oh, I am sure that I am not the only PPE visitor also listening to extreme metal, if it is complex/"progressive" enough. Maybe the only one in this forum, though.

Well, I am speaking of those bands that continue what Atheist, Cynic, (late) Pestilence, Gorguts, or Death started in the first half of the 90ies.
