Honestly, "Transatlanticism" is a pretty fucking amazing song and has totally gained them some respect from me. I highly suggest you check it out.

I've really been enjoying a slice of american indie music as of late, stuff like Pavement, Pinback, Dismemberment plan, Sea & cake and Death cab for cutie. So no, your not the only one, and Transatlanticism is indeed a great album.

have every single cd of theirs and yes the are one of the best "poppy" indie bands out there. also the lead singer of dcfc is also the co-mastermind of Postal Service (pop influenced electro-indie), TOP NOTCH
