I'm really digging S2.0 now (Black Dahlia cover)

Love the sound man ! If you ever think that your cymbals and/or ambience tracks sound too synthetic, try verbing them out (insert not aux). A little trick like that can really go a long way. Works for me anyway (click on my sig).

Sounds great. Not that it's a problem in your mix, but if you want the cymbals to spill more into each channel you can raise one of the 3 pairs of ambient mics available or reduce the spread on the overheads or both.

good job on the cover, but it seems like the guitars completely dominate the mix to the point that the drums are barely audible

of course, it could be these headphones i have on, too...

edit: yea, it was the phones...i just listened on my monitors, and things sounded way better...even the vox were almost inaudible with my phones - which i'm now guessing must be broken or something =/

DSS3
i have a serious problem and i dont get to solve it.
i comment it:

how do you record with pod?
i connect pod only with usb to my pc and when i play guitar sound hard and direct sound but when i record, sound transforms in tightened and compressed.
why?
it can be to record with usb????
I have been long time and i dont get to solve this...i want sound hard and direct that i play in my records.

Fuck that man, I'm trying to work on my own album, apply to a bazillion colleges, keep up with my AP coursework, have a lead role in a Shakespeare play, and am trying to get laid ATM! I can't be thinking about covers!
