I'm seeing Cynic tonight

I'd love to see them live one day.
I can't wait until for new album. Their new song sounds fantastic

no, I was singing dreamweaver in my head while posting this.

show was amazing.

we made them come out and play veil of maya twice since they didn't have any other songs to play.

chilled later to, great, humble people.

focus is still in the top 5 metal album ever recorded. period.

I hope to the fictional gods above that Cynic actually DOES play a show around here before they decide to fold it.

How weird was it that the growls were just played through the PA?

not that weird...it served as any other keyboards or effects would, just like the vocoder vocals, just another part of the whole.

they are pretty psyched, getting good responses, want to play a US tour and record a new album, so they will probably keep it going.

some guy asked Reinart yesterday "I heard this was your guys' last tour?"

and he said "I think you are confusing us with Atheist?" :D :D

that's GREAT news! Atheist have said that they're gonna use NYC as the location for their last show, whenever that is, and they put a thread up asking who people would want to see opening for them, and almost everyone listed Cynic. That would be a killer gig to see right there.
