so I'm trying to do an email interview with the Swedish band KVLR, right? Then they ask me to help them with booking contacts for a US tour in March. And now I'm booking them a 5-day tour. What have I done? Booking tours is one of the least fun things about playing in a band.

that's cool! how, exactly, do you go about booking shows? just call clubs and be like LET THE SWEDES PLAY?

Calling, emailing, sending press kits, schmoozing, kissing ass - whatever it takes. The hardest part is mostly just getting through to the right people and talking to them.
