Im taking the SATs tomorow

My brother's girlfriend sits at home all day smoking weed, and she went into the SATs last year and pulled off a 1400- I shit you not. The sad thing is, she's going to a Community College now. What a total waste of an obviously naturally taleneted mind.

edit: By the way Max, I'm taking them in June, but please confirm reports of this new test being "an unrelenting total mindfuck for 4 hours".

It is. Total fucking bullshit this test was. I murdered the Essay and the Reading/Writing Sections, so easy. I hate math but I think I did decent on that section as well. Took over 5 hours for me but that was probably due to the proctors inability to read things faster than 10 words a minute. Didnt help that I was sick as hell and hopped up on cold medecine.

I'm pretty sure my experience will be similar. I always ace reading/writing and essay stuff, but I have expectations that the Math sections will own me. We took a practice one on friday in Algebra II and it totally fucked with my head. On the subject of cold medicine, I'd like to see someone take a bottle of Tuss and try to take that test. That would literally be the worst thing ever, not to mention impossible.

Yup, tis.

And yeh En Vind is actually right, counting for the stupid ass amount of time it takes them to get organized, its over 5 hours. The actual test is 4 hours. and yeh, its a fucking mindfuck

That's basically how I took it, on top of the antibiotics and the other crap the doctors put me on. If you have any sort of cognitive reasoning and intellegence it is not a hard test, keeping focus while being bored to death is the hardest part. We have (had) MEAP tests too (Michigan Educational Apptitude Performance) as well, those were worded so fucked up you had to be out of your mind to even make any sence out of some of the questions. :hypno:

because some people who went to my school came from an American high school and my old gym trainer trained US Marines and constantly went on about how dumb Americans are and how to get a decent education you have to go to college.

There's no doubt that the American high school system has terribly low education standards. It's much more high-pressure anywhere else in the world. However, most European universities are jokes. You can get Ph.D's there in 5 years with not even 3/4 the amount of credits you need for one here. In conclusion, high school is harder in Europe, but college is harder in the U.S.
