Here you can see the main problem.
2 bass drums (and it's not bad) and old heads....... holy shit. Why drummers waste their time with 2 kicks and use for months shitty heads????
Moreover they have absolutely no musical skills in their ears....this "a cymbal is a cymbal" attitude is a shit.

im a fan of ole drum skins on toms especially! always prefer a new snare skin for tracking, but toms i aint fussed about, i can get much workabl tones with older skins

Anyhow, here is a raw clip of the drums as they were coming in, with the scratch guitar. Throw triggers on the kick (BTW, double kicks are a lot easier to trigger IMO) and it's not horrible. But I still decided to Superior/SSD the drums.
