Improving the sound of your marshall cab

I was thinking about doing this mod..



well just putting the glue in the inside, I don't care about the wiring.
I think the main problem with marshall is, as the guy says, where the "baffle meets the wood frame" (2:07 of the video).
Do you think it will be an improvement? Maybe more lowend?
tightness in the lowend? ... uhm maybe not as much as a mesa but anyway better!

don't you think this guy overrates his "mods"? I'm doubting the immediate tone difference he claims!
