Impulses and solos help

I get impulses for rhythm work and can get it to sound good. I usually do solos through a real amp but atm I can't and have to use impulses. First, I'm using that new sim T30x or something, KILLER sim. The best yet. I'm using the Catharsis solo impulse and the tone is just...too fake for a solo. How can I remedy this? It's not metal, it's a more classic rock solo deal that moved a whole lot.

Hmm, just throw on some good reverb and/or delay? Compressing it a bit(or a lot) with a nice compressor with lots of character can be cool too, also gives it more sustain.
