DO is fanfriggintastic.. I think alot of people underrate it.. though the production wasnt awesome.. it made it sound like a very rough and bleak record.. I adore it... still love the new stuff of coarse.. Katatonia is one of the few bands that I really feel like can do whatever they want and I will like it.

Discouraged Ones is such a bleak bleak bleak album, It's very simple and straightforwardly depressing. I can play most of it on the guitar and i'm not even that good, the beauty lies in the dense "sound" of the guitars and the other instruments.

It's my fav cd from kat and it was my first cd from them. It is so beatifull that I can't express all my feelings twoard the music when I hear it.
