They split up about two years ago, because the Botteri twins(bassist and guitar player) who made the 90% of the music decided.
A double live CD should be out this year, consisting of their final gig on December 23th(I think) 2000 in their homeland Kristiansand.
Still waiting!

Yes, on the GC debut(Journey to the End of the Night) there are both Botteri twins, Synne Larsen(female singer)on some tracks and the singer from Drawn.
(there is one ItW... guitarist in Drawn, Chris Cederberg)
On the latest GC, Light of Day,Day of Darkness, there are both
Jan-Kenneth Transeth and Synne Larsen singing, A.Kobro is playing drums and Bjorn Berserk is also there, he played the guitar on Omnio.
So, this is the other half of ItW... on this album, w/out the Botteri
twins.
Confused?

I love Green Carnation............but I'm ashamed to admit that I havent heard In The Woods before!
I've often heard that Omio is their best album, do you agree? And if so, what is their second best?

I'm not sure (I'm a bit bored to check it out ), but I believe The Isle Of Men was the first demo that the band released. The reissue, entitled A return to The Isle Of Men, contains the entire demo along with some other songs. By the way, does the song "Child of Universal Tongue" that can be found in the reissue have anything to do with the one with the same title that can be found in "3 times 7..."?

It is, it's a compilation of the 7'' that they're released during the years, but the songs contained there can't be found in any of the other ITW albums.
