yo,
I've just finished mixing inner sanctum's latest effort (to be released in september).
not an easy job (some might perhaps remeber my thread about boomy spikes in a guitar DI)....anyway, turned out not bad I think and I thought some of you might like the music, so I thought I'd just plug the band a bit...
if you think the mix sucks or are annoyed by a tiny bit of clipping on a guitsolo keep it for yourself, I've finished this and don't wanna touch it again ;).

What are the drums on this? They sound great!
Probably my favourite of all your mixes you've posted on here, it sounds just a tad more "together" than your other work.

haha, and I tried to get more "separation" in it, lol...taste I guess ;)

drums is a blend of different stuff, the files I got weren't all that great, so I had to augment them with different samples.
the goal was a kinda Testament-formation feel for the drums

nah theres plenty of seperation, it sounds nice and open, but what i meant was it just sounds like the mix works better as a whole than most of your other stuff, at least for me. :D

yeah, it's quite different.
funny thing is that with every mix I post another person says "that's my favorite mix from you", so I guess it's more a matter of taste than quality...what more could I ask for ;)

Out of curiosity, are you digging the 'Way of all Flesh' style of seating tones in a mix, Lasse?

What, you mean like, a SPECIFIC mix technique to get things seated in the same manner?
Plz expandz? :D
