i was very dissapointed by the movie, to me it was the worst quentin t. movie i have ever seen, and i usually love his works.
maybe i´m just spoiled of seeing much better movies playing in the wwII era, like "mein Führer" or "der Untergang"
I really liked the fictional concept idea behind Ingl. Basterds, but they could have made much better out of it, developing more the story and the characters. maybe the movie was just too short to bring all into it?
And this typical QT like long dialogs/monolog wasnt at there best, it dont know, it just doesnt felt right (for example as Col Hans Landa came into the House on the countryside, drinking the milk, etc.)
and also often the music didnt match the picture, that was very annoying, i mean some of the music would match a typical QT road movies very well, but for Ingl. Basterds.. no, if was often negativly distracted by that.
But, there are of course scenes that i like very much, and that are very funny too, but unfortunatly the overall impression of the movie dissapointed me.
and yes, Christopher Waltz played really great in the movie, both thumbs up
and the scene with the baseball bat was the most unnecessary in the whole movie.
haha, der Bärenjude.. remembering the scene now where adolf hitler talks about the "Bärenjude" that gives me huge smile in the face..
so just my 2cents about the movie...
exoslime
