Isn't decaf the coffee equivalent of non-alcoholic beer?

It is not. I'm a decaf drinker and there is enough caffeine to give you a slight coffee buzz. I can now drink like 6 cups of decaf to one cup of regular coffee. The flavour is fine if you get a good brand. Non alcoholic beer needs to be heated and filtered to take out the alcohol, thus removing a lot of flavour.

Hippie decaf coffee is actually damn good.

What a vile concoction. Last time I had the displeasure to dabble with instant was last summer when we "brewed" a pot over a campfire. A co-worker keeps on trying to push this down my throat. He alleges that it's better than their freshly roasted drips, which is a claim I find implausible.
