Interesting Iron Maiden cover

A friend turned me on to this. I like it...

Yeah I have (downloaded the damn magazine does not shows here) that tribute and some covers are good or intersting while other sucks. By the way the Dream Theater cover of 'To Tame A Land' will also come in the special 3-cd edition of "Black Clouds And Silver Linings".

If you can ever find these two versions they're worth to be listen two:

Demonios - 'Fear Of The Dark' (available on the "Transilvania 666" Spanish bands tribute)
Helreid - 'Stranger In Strange Land' (available on their "Fingerprints Of The Gods" maxi-EP).

Very interesting, and yes, I like it. Brave New World is one of my favorite songs and I didn't think I would like a slow version of the song but this band pulls it off. Great cover.

actually it is pretty amazing they can do stuff like that with all vocals.

I like Fear of the Dark, seems alot of Maiden fans dont relate to that album.

HOLY CRAP!!! The Van Canto cover was incredible, very original. I would have thought that an a capella version of a Maiden song would sound wimpy but not at all, that was great.
As for the kids playing the marimbas, I was just amazed! Up the irons!

Nothing personal but I hate marimbas or xylophones or whatever they are playing (but the effort is remarkable).

DT RUINS every song they cover. This, however, is the one exception; it's AWESOME! (PS...love DT but their covers are usually embarrasingly lifeless and "flacid".)

Yeah I forgot that cover . DT played NOTB completely on a concert, is one of their bootlegs. And they have a cover of ' To Tame A Land' in the special version of BCASL (the new album), I bet it's the same version they did for "Maiden Heaven" the Kerrang tribute, and frankly it's not very good.

Have you heard James on DT's version of Rainbow's 'Stargazer'? Horrible! He ruins that song completely.

I heard that there were some rumors circulating that he will leave DT. They are not true but for a moment I had some hope...
