Interesting night at the Austin show?

If you were there, you saw it for a lot of the show. Unnecessary distraction but glad they got it worked out. Most of us in bands have had similar happen at one time or another. You deal with it and move on.

Enact, enable. A throat punch to a fellow band member is need once in a while, just ask Cher!! I'm looking forward to seeing the Nevermore in Montreal, London and Toronto this week.

Anyways, WD's vocals in that clip at the 3:00+ mark are fucking awesome!

The video doesn't work for me, but really? Cause I think generally, from what I have seen, he's not sounded his best lately. Maybe it's age, maybe something else, but it doesn't sound very good... (sorry WD, just my opinion...)

I might just be overreacting based on previous achievements, but...

I heard WD a couple of nights ago at Jaxx in Springfield, and he was fucking amazing.

Indeed if blood sugar levels go too low a diabetic will appear drunk, slurred speech etc, running around on stage without eating before performing has done this to me, and when I tried to explain it to certain people all I got was "fuck you you're a liar" http://diabetes.webmd.com/tc/hypoglycemia-low-blood-sugar-symptoms

My best friend is diabetic, I can attest to this. She'd wake up in the middle of the night having a diabetic low, and i'd have to help her out of bed. She was sick, weak and walked\behaved strangely.

ALSO, I've seen a diabetic drunk, and that was fucking awful. He was doubled over clutching his abdomen, crying, groaning in pain, and then he passed out. Being sober, I was scared because I know that alcohol converts to sugar, and he was too drunk to administer an insulin shot. I had to slap him around a little and search his pockets for a syringe. I didnt know how much to give him, he wouldn't wake up, and I almost hauled his ass to the hospital. All I can say is you KNOW when a diabetic is drunk. That scared the shit out of me.

If people don't believe you, Warrel:
1. They're not a friend
2. They're ignorant

First unfiltered thoughts on this, aside from the issue concerning Jim:

'Oh gosh will people lay off the whole 'Warrel being drunk Y/N' bit met with the 'nu-UH he's a diabetic'.. it should be his own damn business...While it is expected for fans(?) to care about their favorite musicians' health and how it might influence their performances on stage, the personal reasons for a weak performance or acting 'weird' shouldn't be anyone's damned business, save for not meeting expectations. People just love drama.'

Being a public figure, unfortunately, it does become the "public's" business. Curse of media.

wow I had no idea... thanks for shedding light on this.
Aye, internet rumors, and the way people would never believe there is an explanation for things even though you tell them... people always look for the scoop if you're in the spot light. The regular explinations are "boring" ... *sighs*

See ya in NYC!

Noooooo Steve!
Don't give up now!
