Interesting night at the Austin show?

I may have to miss this tour also... I have to work on site this week (and this is the only week we work on site for this project- of course! the perfect timing!) and it sucks :/
Still hoping to get Wednesday off and go to NYC tomorrow at noon for the show.

Fuck, this sucks. The guy I was talking about on page 2, Todd, died on Thursday. He had serious blood sugar problems, but it could have been suicide. I am saddened by this, he was such a sweet kid...

First unfiltered thoughts on this, aside from the issue concerning Jim:

'Oh gosh will people lay off the whole 'Warrel being drunk Y/N' bit met with the 'nu-UH he's a diabetic'.. it should be his own damn business...While it is expected for fans(?) to care about their favorite musicians' health and how it might influence their performances on stage, the personal reasons for a weak performance or acting 'weird' shouldn't be anyone's damned business, save for not meeting expectations. People just love drama.'

So, what you're telling me is... I'm not allowed to want somebody that I consider a friend to be healthy? Also, I think while some of the concern by some people on this forum is directed at "oh no. he's going to be drunk. it'll be a bad show", I believe that the majority of us that have been around for a while are concerned about HEALTH, which is a rather good reason to be concerned.

Afterall, he almost fucking DIED in 2004 or 2005 because of it.

We don't want THAT happen, would we?

It's ok guys, it's just sad. I think he was suffering more than I'll ever know, and I don't think he was taking very good care of himself/diabetic issues. He was a sweet, genuine guy, and we're all fucking bummed about him leaving us.

It was just odd..besides myself, I found out that several of my friends were thinking/talking about him right before he died. The same thing happened with several other people we knew that died recently.

I'm going to his service tomorrow.
