i was actually listening to the power-metal stuff on that cd, too! firewind, stormwarrior, twisted tower dire, paragon (thought that was kinda gay, but listened just for the hell of it) ... then i heard the first 5 seconds of fucking video game music of this dragonland song and just couldn't take it. the next track featured james labrie and i couldn't listen to that either, though.

Twisted Tower Dire is grand. As well as Firewind.

Why the rest of those bands are on a compilation with TTD and Firewind is beyond my fucking comprehension.

it's just got all kinds of stuff - thrash, prog, power, death, black, goth, etc. $10 for new music, i figured it couldn't be too big of a loss and i like some of the stuff i've heard so far, like astarte, wherwolfe, and negator

for me, i get there eventually, but usually wind up at other interesting locations along the way if i even wind up leaving the house.
