Interface for Mac....?

I'm going to be picking up a Mac Pro in a couple weeks. Either a quad or 8 core.....any ways, I want to pick up an interface. I was planning on picking up a Duet, but I'm wondering if there's something else I should look into first. I'm going to be using it with Logic.

Also any good buys on 24" monitors besides the apple monitors.....something nice but cheaper....

So... let me get this straight, you're buying a bazylion dolar mac pro, and then you want a 2-in 2-out for it ?

go for the duet, you won't get better bang for the buck if thats what you are after, and it integrates amazingly with logic too.

i have a mac pro, and im using a samsung 24" - paid about £200 and im really happy with it, 2ms, 3000:1 etc

Atleast for now.....later I might upgrade to something with more inputs. but I'll be recording drums on location with my2480 and exporting into Logic.


Everything else could easily be recorded with the Duet or sequenced.

Anything as good or better than the Duet......maybe something that also does midi.
