I'm sort of considering upgrading my Digi 002R to an RME FF800 in the next couple of months.

I don't do a whole lot of recording, I get the odd job now and then, but whatever I make, I invest into new gear/upgrading what I've got. I don't have any problems with the 002, I think it's a fine unit and it's served me well. I've seen that a lot of guys around here are using the RME stuff and that's a pretty good advertisement for me.

I'm currently running the 002 with a Motu 8 Pre via Adat.

Would I notice a big improvement over the 002 with the FF800? Would I be just as well saving some money and getting something like the BLA Micro Clock for a little upgrade?

If I was recording the whole time, I'd likely just get the FF800 and be done with it, but I'm hoping some input from you guys here will point me in the best direction to go with my rig.
