yeah, that's a nice interview. i espeically liked what he said at the end of one of the questions about production: "The best lenses in the world are grinded/polished by a human hand because of the human irregularity in the movement." How true that is.

I don't really agree regarding the production/sound quality. I think the mix has excessive bass, it sounds like the low end of the drums and guitars have been boosted throughout the whole album, it's constantly "rumbling" whenever there's guitars and drums. Clearly audible in the intro of Roots, and I think Jens Bogren might have missed the extremely loud spike around 1:54 in The Plains Of Memories. I normally love prominent bass in my music (any genre, but especially in metal) but it just sounds a little too exaggerated and unnatural on Urd, but I'm sure this is how the guys intended it to be!

No probs! I'll pay more attention to the production, which has usually been Borky's Achilles' Heel.
