Intronaut/Mouth of The Architect/Biolich in Brooklyn

Dear Biolich,

Hello. My name is Alex Driver. You may know me as the Internet Xfer not related to free boobies. Your decision to start playing whilst i grabbed some grub hurt me deeply. Enclosed please find my Club Biolich member badge and decoder ring.

Sincerely,

Holy Driver

Barista Dot, you have to be kidding.

Im actually not, I live in this place called the Antelope Valley...where kids think they are part of like a Harcore revival.

I should show you pictures of this guys "AVHC" tatoo.

Its huge thick black letters on is his forearm/or shin....I dont remember.

People think they are fucking serious.

So yeah, its either bromosh or screamo....that somehow everyone thinks is so innovative, because everytime a new "post-hardcore" band comes out, everyone acts like they are the most innovative band on earth.

So yeah, just imagine living in a creative black hole.

this show was great btw! mouth, century, biolich, and intronaut all played really well, even though i thought the sound was really thick/fuzzy in the room. plus they let us smoke in the bar!

i did keep getting introduced to people as "toby-from-kayo-dot's-brother" though.

oh and a girl saw my TRIAC shirt and started talking about them. i guess she booked them at northsix last time and they stayed at her house? she said josh was nice and did the dishes and they may be coming back in sept!

I was embarrassed for doing that even if it was once. I felt it was sort of valid since Leon is going to be doing a bunch of shows with Toby soon. It was good to see you!

I know exactly what you mean... I live in a small tourist town that seems to think it has it's own exuberant music "scene", when really it's just a bunch of white middle-class inbreds playing reggae as well as the obligatory emo bands and carbon copies of Franz Ferdinand (the band, not the Archduke)

I totally forgot about Windham Hell. I'd like to hear something new from them.

Then Audiosavant's posted some bad news for you:
Our good friend Eric Friesen of Windham Hell passed away last friday June 30th at 34. We miss him and wish his family and daughter Merissa the best. R.I.P.
