intro's

COB songs with intros that can be lengthened on stage:

Bed of Razors
Downfall
Mask of Sanity
Chokehold
Angels Don't Kill

And I think it's called interstellar overdrive, but that term is usually used when lengthening parts of the song elsewhere than at the intro, not sure tho.

You could only have a movie sample intro before AYDY & T,L&S

Which I think would have been cool, maybe. Also I missed T,L&S with new Alexi guitar and lyrics. He had purposefully drank a bottle of whiskey when he went to record his tracks for the song. In a way that's cool but still.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie to stop myself being bashed. I know 90% of the people here don't like Bodom that much anymore but I do and they're going to have to deal with it.

In Your Face, Living Dead Beat, We're Not Gonna Fall have become some of my favourite Bodom songs, period.

Yeah TL&S is awesome too.

You were sayin about the solos not being as good...talking about AYDY reminds me of Living Dead Beat and We're Not Gonna Fall. They're pretty awesome!!!

AYDY does have a great deal of solos. IYF fits really well into the song aswell as the keyboardsolo fits well with the guitar solo, not that many bodom songs has that. And IYWPPFW has a really good solo, even though im not a particular fan of that song. But it has been said many times, aydy has a different sound, but it still has that bodom sound from the previous albums, so i for one hope that the new album will be just as good, even if the style will be something else.

EDIT: Intros, forgot to actually add something to this discussion ! Movie intros aren´t really something i´ve been listening too, actually i didnt notice that AYDY didn´t have any movie quotes until this thread, but if you´re talking about intros like the Tuska downfall version, well yeah, i kinda liked the intros they had in the previous albums!

Edit 2: took me alot of time to write this drunk, to correct all the mistakes, so if you still see one, don´t blame me :(

 Love how this thread changed from the question of why didn't AYDY? include movie quotes as intro to the neverending CoB selling out debate. He was just asking a simple question that maybe someone could have read in an interview with one of the band members somewhere.

...and for the record, not including movies quotes doesn't make AYDY? a mainstream album. The music does it by itself, but that's just a personal opinion, I know.

I like cob, but i don't like Aydy. I don't whine about it and it was not based on others opinions, i have the album, i listened to it for a month, and i found it it was not my style. And also there are other things, but i won't list them as people surely want to bring those things up too, and start whining. aaagain. Oh well.
