Not sure if anyone here has an answer for me. I run a mac mini in my studio and I want to be able to take it home with me to do edits and such. I really would like to use my ipad as my monitor for portability. Im aware of app like splashtop and I actually have it. I just wondered if I was over looking a better way to use my ipad as my primary and only monitor? it doesnt have to be wireless either, if there is a way to connect the mini to to ipad via a cable that would be great too. Thanks to everyone for putting up with a non-metal related question \m/\m/

I'd be interested in this too. Tried controlling it using a Android tablet using some kind of screen sharing software that uses your ip address but that was laggy as fuck.

Im not even really that interested in using the ipad to control anything, just act as the primary display. I have splashtop and know it works but i thought maybe I was overlooking a cable or a better solution.
