Is CoB's keyboard player metal?

they're a great band, but more in the way AC/DC is a great band then Opeth is. Yeah they're all technical guitar work and not much else but dammit if you just want to jump around and want to kill stuff then it's fuckin great. If you're looking for depth and seriousness....well thats what Opeth is for.

With some people on this forum, that could be a serious question. Anyone remember the guy who put up the rant about how the drummer and bassist on Orchid and Morningrise "looked like crips" and "were disgraces to Opeth" as a result of that? He was apparently an extremely insecure person, or is an extremely judgemental homosexual, or both...I can't tell. I hope this isn't serious :'( Regardless, who was the last keyboard player who WAS metal? It's pretty impossible to look like anything besides an utter weenie while playing a keyboard, don't you think?

and in that Opeth picture the only one who truly looks metal is Mendez. I mean he looks like "I'm not like these dudes I'm walking with, I'm much more metal!" and Peter is fucking tall!! and he always looks like a hippie. Mikael's double-chin scares me... and Lopez's smile... so non-metal!

I can see him with some Viking Metal act... it's just so strange that I hear he's shy and quiet normally and very submissive when it comes to songwriting. You'd think it'd be 'ok.. so Mike, I wanna blast beat here... here... alright and all throughout this song here....'
