Jethro Tull is a great band. A Passion Play and Thick As A Brick are by far my favorites.

(I am a "proghead" apparently, after all.)

Hehehe, A Passion Play is a classic

"once there was a rabbit who lost his pectacles...."

Never really that much into Tull, but they are excellent live, a good bit heavier than the albums. You really have to like the flute to get into it in my opinion.
Wish you lot would stop refering to your dads, it is making me feel old.
Geez, my dad talks about Sinatra etc not 70's prog. I suppose I am probabily older than some of your dads, so all I would say is don't argue, and respect your elders :)

Jethro Tull are indeed a great band, my 4th favourite prog band infact - any modern day prog should take at least some influence from them. I'm sure I saw Mike wearing a shirt of theres at a show.

you really should cut your losses and throw yourself off a bridge already. :Smug:
It seems like you don't put as much effort into your comebacks as you used to.

If he told me he wasn't into them I'd find it REALLY hard to believe, considering the prog record collection that he has.
