Is Theocracy doing another Christmas song this year?

I sure hope so. I think Matt could sing a very nice "The First Noel"

Also, hearing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" would go well, too.

I doubt it, based on Matt's explanation why they didn't do one last year:

I'm mixing the new Soulspell record at the moment and have other projects after that, Jon is getting married today and heading to Hawaii, and with all the interviews and everything in preparation for the album, there's just no time. I've been waiting for the right opportunity to wind the annual Christmas song tradition to a close anyway, because there's only so much that can be done and it has to stop at some point...plus I don't want to become "the Christmas band," as it were, with more Christmas material than real material.

Not saying we won't ever do another one, just not this year and not every year. Besides, there's plenty of Metal Christmas stuff out there nowadays--it's pretty played out, to be honest. I'd much rather concentrate on As the World Bleeds.

Honestly, I wouldn't care if it was a Christmas song, a cover song, or a brand new Theocracy song. It would be cool to have some new stuff. I don't think I can wait until the next album

Yeah, but they kinda said that almost every year, so I'm hoping they will relent again. And again and again every year.

Let's face it: Theocracy Christmas music is by far the best Christmas music out there. No exaggeration.

I don't know, I mean, last year was the first year they didn't do one and Matt said "I've been waiting for the right opportunity to wind the annual Christmas song tradition to a close anyway". That's kind of a clear statement that the tradition has ended (leaving the door open for the occasional song).

I think y'all are going to set yourselves up for a lot of disappointment if you go through this process of hoping for it each and every year. Time to get excited about new traditions, like concerts and videos
