Is there a way to save track configurations in Pro Tools?

I always wondered if there was a way I could just bring up an audio track with a set of plug ins on them so I don't have to rebuild them after I open a new session.

Sort of like Logic's "Save channel strip setting"

Not exactly, but you can go to File>Import>Session Data and import the tracks/insert/settings from another session. PT will let you choose what you want to bring over.
