I can't embed the image right now as I'm on my phone.

I can upload more pictures if needed

I've been asking myself this question for a while now but I thought I'd see if any of the more experienced room acoustic member could help. It's still my bedroom so I can't go treating every single inch of it

Any help would be great

Any kind of treatment is better than none if your in a less than ideal room. I would get some baffles and set them up in your rooms corners and then at the first reflexion points. The best is always to start with superchuncks but since its just a bedroom i think baffles would be best since you can easily remove them if you need to.

How have you taken this picture ? It seems made of several pictures merged with a program ? Never had the idea with something else than an horizontal image.

This is a little off topic, but that's a really cool looking room in general w/ all the beams one the ceiling and such. Plus the little door looks cool. Kinda like the door in "Being John Malcovich."

That room looks so sick. Is it actually shaped that way or did it only turn out like that because of photoshop/putting pictures together isn't perfect?

You could have cut out your girlfriend sleeping in bed. Due to the unusual shape of your room you should be easily able to really improve the sound of your room with the right treatment.

Call me stupid, but what are baffles?
I was considering putting some superchunks in the corners next to my desk. They'd only be small ( 2.5 - 3 feet) as the beams in my room come down quite low

Its an iphone app called Photosynth :) I didn't do any stitching at all, just go round my room and it automatically snaps them. Its a 360 panoramic app

Thanks man! I love my room but it sucks as far as acoustics go... i think haha

It's actually shaped like that :) Its in the attic so it's like a pyramid shape haha not the best for mixing etc

She was awake and I couldn't be arsed moving her out the shot :p

Would it really be that easy to threat the room? Its such an odd shape, theres corners and little crevices everywhere

Urmmm, it would be much easier to tell what was actually going on if you just took a few pictures from different angles. That panoramic thing is giving me a headache telling the difference between curved bits of ceiling and straight bits that look curved from the panorama.

I'll take some and upload now :)

Do a photo from further away so we can see the entire back wall. I'd be inclined to move the desk away from the wall if you can so you have room to chunk the shit out of the corners.
