I already worked in a Slaugther house too, in the Eviceration departement. My job was to throw the heart and the loins in a big ripping machine, or something like that.

There is a guy in the hook room who was in H division with Michael reid for 6 months, Anyways i get paid alot and it is very interesting work ive done a lot of diffrent jobs like:

Ear tags:Cutting of microchips from the ears and scanning them on a PC
Hide trim:Cutting hair and grease of rump
Gut Box:Sending fetus's down to take the blood out of them, and sorting out contaminated organs
Floor boy:Cleaning floor and moving wheel barrows
Pornch room: Cutting open stomachs and draining the ingesta
Tripe room: sorting and packing tripe
Offal room: Packing and Strapping boxes full of organs
ISK: Cutting out the inner skirt of the carcase
Hook room: Cleaning hooks
Head and Tounges wash: washing the blood of tounges and heads
Pre knocking: Jigging cows with a cattle from and washing the ass and legs
2nd change over: Cutting a leg off and shoving a hook under the tendons

i get $17hr i work 12 hrs a day 4 days a week and i im trying to move from the kill floor to the boning room.
