It's CLOBBERIN' time!

Was Latvaria mentioned at all?

Did they give Dr Doom powers?

All the trailers make it look like absolute summer movie 'hey explosions and one liners' bullshit. Not the F4 comics I remember.

Latvaria actually comes into play towards the very end of the film.

Doom has powers and no, they really don't fuck w/ his look either.

They do the comics justice, story wise. The bulk of the one liners come from the ever lovin' blue eyed THING..along w/ a few from Johnny Storm.

Jessica Alba in her underthings - need I say more?

It's just as good, but not better than Batman Begins.

Trailer for 'The Transporter 2' was awesome.

Hope all that helped you out some.

I can not get down with the idea of Victor von Doom with powers. That just ain't right.

Maybe I'll catch a cheap matinee show tomorrow.

Well, the story is greatly updated for todays audience, but belive me - the powers he's given in the film fit the Dr. Doom character like a glove.

i should have that movie soon, not a fan but i will check it out,i am so fucking bad with watching movies,i have had sith for a few weeks now and have only watched 20 mins of it lol.

well since he did go into space with them then he would have to get powers. it would be a gigundo plot hole if he didnt, but things are well balanced.

What do you all think of how they did their powers.

The Thing was done, to me, too good to put into words.

Johnny's fire was pretty good, not great but good enough.

Reed's was pretty good actually, could have been a bit better bit im still impressed.

Being invisible isint a new trick but she made it worth watching again.

that sounds worth checking out. i'll probley see it with my friends in chicago next week on my vacation.
hey great signature remington69. my brooms worn out from all the sweeps this past month. southside pride !

The thing just didn't look complete to me without the overly developed brow, but he turned out a helluva lot better than I expected. Big ups to the Commish for his portrayal.

As a comic book store owner, all i can say is stay away if your a comic geek. For what it was it wasn't that bad though!

You have to admit...for what Hollywood used to try and pass of as comic adaptations - it was good. The point was to update the story. The FF origin as well as Dr. Dooms are outdated. In my opinion, they could have done a lot worse.

The Captain America movie from 1990 can attest to that.

I totally agree, but even the slightest of changes piss me off! & the Capt Amr movie, well that was "Classic Fromage."
Best comic book movie is still Superman II. Gene Hackman = Lex Luthor!

I checked it out yesterday. It was good. As a comic nerd there were certain things I could nit pick at but all in all it was entertaining.. Remember when the F.F book first came out the thing did not have the over developed brow. It may appear in the sequal. Not bad for a family film ........

I know Kirby didn't draw him that way but to me it just suits the chacter better.

BTW, anyone else see a poster for X3? Just a big X with Wolverines three claws in front of it.
