Its Official: Hell hath frozen over

This should be really, REALLY interesting...if they hit the US, the tickets will probably make McCartney's prices look like bubblegum.

sounds like a one time shot ... they're aren't actually reuniting... they'll just play together one time that's all...

Well, if they get on well and Roger can control his ego for a while maybe it will lead to a final tour of some sorts.

After all, just two years ago Rog wasn't returning David's calls...

they had better not try to write an album. Even if Gilmour and Waters managed to get along for long enough to write anything, it couldn't be any good, just look at what Waters has been up to lately, just like Danny Glover, he too is too old for this shit.

But who knows, it could work out, if Waters' ego was kept in check by Gilmour, he could maybe still crank out something pretty good... Because quality Floyd is somewhere right in the middle between the last album either one put out.

Well see thats the thing, and why PF used to be so great.

Waters always had the grandiose lyrical and conceptual ideas, where Gilmour had the brilliant musical ability. Combine those two, and you get shit like Animals, The Wall, Dark Side, Meddle, WYWH, etc...

If you look at their solo albums, its even more obvious. Water's solo albums have crazy concepts, but terrible music, Gilmour's has cool music, but the lyrics just suck.
