I'm gaining knowledge from this forum for about 3 years now and I think it's time to give something back. This forum gave me a whole new passion and I'm so thankfull for that.

I want to thank Glenn for guiding me through the horror of real drums, though we never had a talk. I also want to thank Lasse who answered all of my stupid questions over the years... whish we could have recorded that song with Vanity Ruins back then. I want to thank Felix for beeing a friend, Marcus for making me crack up (Hay Guyz!), Ermin for everything he writes, Adam for his slip editing tutorial. never thought it would be that easy... Andy Sneap for this forum, GuitarHack for his impulses when I needed them, Gabriel for making me buy my Audient ASP, Ola for making Mel Gibson and Matt Damon record tutorials and all the others who made me learn a lot of stuff in the past years and contributed so much to this awesome forum. There are just too many of you cool guys.

Okay, enough of that. I made kick, snare and tom samples of our drummers Tama Superstar kit. It's a total of 4 kick samples and 16 snare (crack, hard, medium, soft) and tom samples (Hard, Medium, Soft, Very Soft. 2 toms, 1 floortom). Fuck yeah! Multisamples!
Some infos:
Snare (14"): Evans mute Ring, Remo "Weatherking" skins, i5 on top, 57 for bottom, both into api 3124. It's REALLY high pitched.
Kick (22"): Falam Slam Pad, that evans ring for the hole in the front skin, Evans "emad clear" skins, Audix D6 into api 3124, compressed with FMR RNC
Toms (10", 12", 14"): Evans "ec resonant" skins, moongel, D2 (Toms)/ D4 (Floor Tom) into api 3124
I want to let you know that these are the first samples I've ever made. So take a break if you really really hate them. It's the first time ever for me to tune a kit, mic it up, record samples and cut them. It's also the first time for me to use the api and mics so it literally took me hours to make these. To be true it took me every free minute in the last 4 days. Yeah... that's the way it is when you try stuff for the first time.
I could never contribute anything to this forum so I wanted to make something big to thank you. I'm not sure if these samples are usefull for anyone... I mean I hope so... but it's more about the effort and time I've put into them. Ah yeah. I also made TCI's.
Here is a sample of the full kit. Cymbals are superior, everything else you hear are my samples (100%!) and some room sound from superior. I also mixed the hole drumkit a bit because the kick has huge amounts of low end. No EQ!

Here's the link for the files. The rar should contain 68 samples in total. If you like them and you find any bad samples please let me know and I will fix them. You will find all files as wave and as tci. Maybe you want to play around with the velocitys in instrument maker.

Thanks again to everyone and I'm finally considering myself a forum-member now.
