I have the chance to be part of the most inept union in the history of man. The labour contract has been finished for a year and a half and they still haven't formulated their demands to the employer. I am really bummed to be in a union in the first place and now I have to deal with idiots unable to write a document of things they have discussed for the past 6 years....

it took me 3 years to get a raise at my job. I have low expectations.

well let's put it this way. since last january i now have two other people's work ON TOP OF MY OWN. and no raise.

i've been looking for another job for over 5 months, no dice. i have someone who i am legal guardian of, so i can't just think of myself and take off unfortunately.
i also get paid more at my job than anyone else in this type of position at other jobs. but that is because of the amount of work i do.
i'd quit if there were ANY FEASIBLE means of doing it. literally, if i could work at burger king and pay my bills i'd do it.

I'll get my 3.5 payraise but I'm having to switch to a more expensive health plan because of prescription copays, so it all kind of evens out.
