Downloading it at the moment. A bit scared of the tablet-style interface, I like lists in iTunes. Navigating through album covers is not efficient
EDIT : using it for the first minutes... I don't like it either but maybe I'll get used to it... I really liked the way iTunes 10 put songs who are in the same album together under "artist" even using the column navigation, I used it an hybrid way (column navigator on top for fast search, and the bottom of the screen for the normal view where the albums and songs were grouped by album with the cover) and I don't think it can be configured for that. Cause now, when you are under artist, you have to scroll down so far to find the artist you wanna find, because you can't do a first filter by selecting "swedish metal" for example and have only a few ones left.
EDIT 2 : actually, it's all down to using the "gender" tab instead. So it's like Gender is a master tab for Artist, which is a master tab for Album, which is a master tab for Songs. I think i'll get used to it

I got used to it pretty quickly, to be honest. I messed around with the view a bit and got fairly comfortable with it.

My main complaint is that you can't see the cover art whilst in the "song" list.
I do like the album section though.

Looks like Apple ran out of ways to make GUI look futuristic, so they made it look ancient instead. Like if they had found blueprints for an audio library and playback software in the Great Pyramid of Giza, it would be iTunes 11.
I don't really feel strongly either way about it just yet, and I've been using it for a few days now. My main complaint with it right now is that the Mini-Player is noticeably gimped. It doesn't have a volume control, it doesn't show the album of the song playing, and you have to mouse over it to show the three basic controls: rew, play/pause, and FF. All taking away from the ways I used to use the MP while listening. I'll probably find ways to get back to how it used to be though, maybe some setting somewhere I haven't found yet. And if not... I'll re-install 10, not a big deal.

I've now switched to the Miniplayer which is actually sweet. Got it living on top of all other windows which makes skipping tracks a breeze.
I have been on a bit of a 'shuffle all' bender lately though so it might not work as well if you're trying to listen to certain songs/albums/artists...

I really like it, it's finally a multi-column layout (artists, albums) rather than just a big fuck-off list, which was why (along with the endless load times on Windows) I always hated iTunes and used Windows Media Player and now Winamp. I'm still happy with the latter, but at least now I can consider iTunes a viable alternative!
