I finally think I've taken a step forwards in my mixing, really doing my best to make everything have it's own place etc.

It's not perfect, so I'd like some opinions and thoughts on it

I personally think you have, I love this, and the rest of your stuff on sound cloud. Great writing, great riffs.

How're you achieving that distorted tone? I love it. Only criticism I have is the clean tone, sounds like it's recorded direct and you're hitting it a bit too hard? Other than that, love it!

Agree'd on the clean I hate it haha nedds some more compression to smooth the volumes out, plus I'm just in general trying to find a decent clean tone.

I do this:

B.C Rich Guitar (EMG 81)
Sennheiser headphone cable with 1/4" jack adapter
1/4" into guitar, 1/8" one into the soundcard
TSX30 or something free ampsim, the really popular one,
Fredman impulses,
Done.
