Maybe you suck or something because the Thai Shutter was great.

Korean cinema is of a great standard overall. Derivative horror for the western market hardly constitutes the best of Korean cinema.

Speaking of Thai, I watched Re-Cycle recently and, once I got over the fact it was genre-melding surrealist fantasy instead of horror as I expected it to be, I found it utterly fascinating.

I can't say it had a whole lot going for it other than the visual aspect, but it definitely delivered on that front.
