This thing is pure fucking gold. Before I used to drink Jaloviina or cognac to get drunk, but now I have seen the light. Tonight I was sipping some cognac and about halfway up the bottle just thought, fuck this shit, gotta have JD!! Quick trip to liquor store and I am happy again.

Any other JD fans?

Honestly, as much as I love JD, I like Jim Beam more.

And it's cheaper - thank fuck, because I killed half a handle of it last night alone.

*EDIT* the other cheap whiskey I love is Wild Turkey... oddly enough, it's made in Kentucky, but I've only found it in Germany. No west coast love for the Turk.

JD and coke is like the nectar of the slobs though.

Some vodkas are very good! Though, I seem to like them vodkas that don't taste like anything (great to mix with anything you have available)

When I first watched Band of brothers from start to finish, I thought I should try Vat69 (was Nixons favourite drink). So, I drank the whole bottle. The next day I had a massive hangover and a funeral I should go to. It was horrible (the funeral and the hangover). Never again

I have nothing against JD, but it's not my favorite. Seagram's 7 however, is.

Funny you mention this... My roomate and I decided today that the only reason the 3L bottle is the next size up from a typical handle is that the 3L won't fit in the fridge of a college dorm.

I'll drink pretty much anything that's handed to me... lol, but Jack Daniels is really good. I've also been getting into Yukon Gold, Bushmills and Seagrams recently. Jamesons is my long time staple however.

On the topic of alcohol...I made a drink last year that is rapidly becoming my favorite hot season drink, and I'll share the recipe with you lads.

1x Pilsener glass
1x Bottle of Tequiza
1x Shot of Tequilla
Lime Squeeze (optional)
Salt on the rim (optional)

Pour the contents of the chilled Tequiza bottle into the pilsner glass, making sure it doesn't foam over. Pour the a shot of tequilla into shot glass. *Literally* drop the shot glass into the Tequiza. And lime and salted rim to taste.
