Hey fellas,
someone is offering me a trade and he offers a 90s jackson performer made in japan with replaced pixkups to emg 81 and tuners, tunomatic style bridgr. was wonderong if anyone can give any feedbacl on this.. does it worth something? its in a good condition but i am not sure what should be the price tag with the upgrade. i am not sure if it worth trading my ibanez rg1550 or the jackson dk2

what do you think

Yep the stock value s/h is between £100-£150 but with the emg's plus tuners your looking at nearer £250- £300 in value . I tried to sell my mint stock Jackson Kelly performer on eBay for £150 with no takers .

Would you recommend this guitar? i am looking for a good active guitar to record with

It depends if you like recording guitar whilst standing up!

The Jackson PS3 V shape is horrible to sit down with unless you grip it between your legs and adopt a different technique. Even then though, the jack ouput will get in the way unless you're using a right angled jack.
