Anyone here have one of these? if so, how do you like it? Are the Hz's decent pickups or would you be better off swapping them for some real EMGs? (81/85 set or something)

I haven't tried the HZ's myself, but I've been told by many people that they are too weak for serious metal. You could of course use a pedal to boost your output signal for more gain, but you'd probably want to replace them eventually.

I don't have an SLSMG, but I've been lusting after something a bit more metally lately (a gibson SG is my main guitar these days) and had heard good things about the SLSMG (other than the pickups, which would probably be swapped) for that matter, any other recommendations as far as good metal guitars go?
