Urghh! I hate writing these kind of press releases!

Unfortunetly Jag Panzer have to cancel our appearance at Minneapolis Mayhem. Prior commitments from 2 band members have made a Friday appearance impossible.

John McGovern, the promoter, has worked very hard trying to shuffle things and make a Jag Panzer appearance possible. Unfortunetly this was just not possible.
I'd like to thank John for going above-and-behind in an attempt to make something work.

I think Minneapolis Mayhem will be a great festival and I deeply apologize to anyone dissapointed by this news.

Oh damn... although i am not from the states, but i can imagine the dissapointed faces there ...
i hope you can play a show there someday :headbang:

Mark, I just read this on Blabbermouth and I think it's a bit of a bummer for those wanting to see you guys but some thing are out of your control.

I know you guys would have kicked ass and brought the house down.

That is true... they would have.

Man that stinks! Hasn't JP been confirmed for quite a while now?

I hope this doesn't open a can of worms saying this but... with Chris helping Nevermore I hope there's no chance of disturbance in the Panzer camp, because the band smokes with the current line-up!

What other member had another committment?

Nope, no chance of any disturbance here. We totally support Chris playing with Nevermore. It's an excellent opportunity for him.

Other then Chris, Rikard has a gig in Phoenix with his other band. I have a gig in Las Vegas early Friday morning (or really late Thursday if you want to look at it that way, it's like 1:00 am).

I don't see any disturbance or turbulence with Chris doing what he's doing. I met Mark throught the IMBB and despite being in a band, he never spouted off about it and was just another cool poster.

I met Makr 7 Co. in April of 02 here in NJ just a mere 4 days before our daughter was born and if I'm not mistaken, Marks' twin girls were themselves maybe a yr od or so?

They were a great bunch of guys to hang with and being in a band, selling records and touring, you couldn't meet a more down to earth bunch:cool:

They are all good musicians in their own right but collectively is where they shine best:worship: I think they fact that they respect each other and are "allowed" (if you will) to do other stuff non Panzer related shows how tight the bond is:cool:

Now I'm jonezin for a Jag Panzer show

I'm playing guitar on a couple of Beatles songs in Las Vegas. It's a band that's playing a convention party at one of the hotel/casinos.

Lol! I'm not wearing a tux. If I was asked to, I wouldn't do the gig.

These kinds of gigs pay o.k., but I'm doing it as a freebie (it's only a few songs).

I'll be in Las Vegas anyway and this gives me an opportunity to get up and play.
