Its been posted here in the past I'm sure, but this website is a wetdream for musicians like myself and I'm sure many of you here. Dream Theater and other bands already have some songs up and I would absolutely kill for some Symphony X songs to be put up.

Just checked out the Dream Theater stuff available and noticed that you have to pay between $2.99 and $4.99 per instrument track. That's about $20 a song (and they only come in digital/downloadable format). An album would cost about $200. This begs the question as to why the hell should we pay that much money for something as rather newbish and unproductive as simply jamming to a commercial song? No wonder it's been targeted exclusively for Apple's platforms (up until recently that is). Only Apple's mindless consumer base would most happily throw money on something that seems cool but not enough to justify the price tag.
