damn, not only is his playing absolutely amazing, but the productions sounds phenomenal!

the thing that i think always sucks about "solo projects" it just sounds like the artist is just wanking as much as possible which make songs sound really bland and lame. this is probably one of the few exceptions i've ever heard, they actually sound like songs!

i think he just became my new favorite guitarist. i think i'm going to have to pick this cd up immediately.

Jeff Loomis is as good of a writer as he is a shredder, which is why he's one of my favorites ever. I really can't deal with shredders who write boring songs.
