Jeff Loomis old demos

Hey. I just downloaded some of those old demos of Jeff Loomis's old band fear tech...and they shred! Does anyone know how old he was when he recorded them and how long he had been playing guitar for? Any other information about him and his guitar playing would be greatly appreciated (how much he practiced, other bands, other sites with info on him ect...) thanks alot.

well he started at age 12 or 13,got into classical music through his dad.I probably once knew how many hours he practiced but forgot it.a lot anyway.I've heard he took a lot of lessons and by the time he was 18 he gave lessons..
those demos were recorded early 90s .
he now is 30.

I've got my Jackson RR1 LTG signed by him.he rules.He played it (acousticly)but it was too noisy there(a gig)to hear.afterwards I asked:"do you know what you've played?" and he told me he heard everything in his head..amazing!perfect inner ear..he can play whatever he hears in his head!

his advice: practice that what you suck at...
