Well if JSS is the most known from the genre, I guess I am not missing out on much if no-one else from the genre tours. Not to say they are no good, but I hardly know any JSS, so I won't be missing out on anything I am die hard for.

Jeff Scott Soto - Panther, Yngwie, Axel Rudi Pell, RockStar, Biker Mice, Eyes, Talisman etc etc etc - I just think its so shit that hes playing to empty rooms. I heard Brisbane was just as bad as Sydney 100 people. I'm more so pissed cos no other bands will come here after hearing how bad it all was.

Hang on, so "melodic rock" is its own genre? I just thought it was rock that was melodic, which means most of it. Wow. And there I was thinking melodic rock was most of the stuff that was played on Triple M.

His brisbane show had a pretty good turn out. I mean 100 or so people. Thats pretty damn good for brisbane given its a melodic rock show.

He did a medley of songs and one of them was you got another thing comin. Shit it rocked!

100 people at a show in Brisbane is a good turn out for that city. But on the subject of mid-week shows, I went to a band comp. night at the local pub in Katoomba last night and the place was packed! It was just unknown bands from the local area and the room was wall to wall! If it had been on somewhere in Sydney I would have been the only one there. I think promoters underestimate country venues when it comes to booking tours.

100 people at a show in Brisbane is a good turn out for that city.

We're not that bad. Gigs at the entertainment centre regularly sell out with 12000 people or so, so one can only assume that if Jeff had played there he would have gotten at least 8000.

I'm telling you, arena rock is the way to go.

I found out tonight that Brisbane's JSS show had a larger turn out than Sydney's.
