For some reason I just cant get that throaty sound when I record

I think we're at about 50/50 now on like vs. dislike. I have also only played the cabinet for an hour yet, so it needs time to break in; I'm sure that will help with the "grating" top end.

More clips to follow soon. I have to familiarize myself with this beast.

It has potential, but it's WAY too boomy IMO, and scooped - personally I like the aggressive snarl though! (didn't hear the original version, so I don't know how much you changed)

I like the tone in the updated clip,
It does not sound muddy to me it just has lots of lows in it which I personally like.
It sounds similar to the Rect cab to me.

Update sounds better, but I'm still not totally feeling it man.
There seems to be this weird hollowness around some of the mid mids to the tone that kinda leaves this gap in the mix somehow

High end is too aggressive, not enough mids. Has a lot of potential though if you know what I mean.

its got potential, its very very smooth and not edgy enough for my likings, seems like it needs some sweet upper mids 4-8kis to bring it to life.
