Don't judge the EP by that track alone. Each track has a very distinct and different sound from the other. By track four it's seemingly no longer Jesu.

after some listens, i must say that the first two songs are amazing. the third song is average, and the fourth is rather meh.

i dont mind the "pop" direction taken in some of the songs, but it feels like he's trying to say too much in a short period of time, rather than letting the songs breathe like on Heartache (2 songs in 30-40 minutes) or the full length of 70 minutes. Silver just feels...compressed.

i have the vinyl. very good stuff.

personally, i feel that if you have the s/t, heartache, sun down sun rise and lifeline, you've got all you need from this band.

i like conqueror and some of why are we not perfect, but the split w/ battle of mice and pale sketches are worthless
