The original is even better IMO.
She was very very depressed when she wrote the songs for that album and some of the tracks are really dark, Den Ständiga Resan is one of them.

I take issue with this song, Bridge of Sighs is definitely the superior cover imo. And the reason... those darned smooth Rs... Or well, whatever kind of smooth Rs they are, might be Fredriksson's. Yes, I'm a west coast, Gothenburg kinda guy, and that stuff gets on my nervesRegardless of wheter or not it's Stockholm or Halland Rs. Apart from that, it's awesome. No offense, Mike

Due to all those tracks being on the dvd, I haven't really listened too much to them, because I cannot be arsed with fishing out the dvd from the case, putting it into my laptop and deal with all the different bullshit that may or may not occur when I insert a dvd.

I feel it's a great cover too. I remember the first time I listened to it, I was really weirded out by the song. But, after going through it five or six times, I really love the song. Oh, and thanks for the lyric translations Sea, I've been wondering what Resan was all about!
